Frome Homeopath: Luke Norland • DSH, RSHom, BMus.
Luke is a professional homeopath and massage therapist with 10 years experience.
He grew up sharing his family home with the School of Homeopathy, ran by his father Misha so it’s in the DNA! Having first studied classical music in London, his career path eventually brought him back to his roots in the healing arts. Since completing his first diploma in holistic massage, he has been treating patients for a wide variety of health conditions for almost 10 years. Whether you come for a bodywork session or a homeopathic consultation, you will find that Luke is a good listener, has a calm presence and knows how to ask questions that give you the space to open up and talk about yourself. This process in itself begins the journey of self-discovery that is intrinsic to healing.
Luke has a Homeopathy practice in both Frome and Bristol, having graduated from The School of Homeopathy in 2018. Consultations with Luke will give you an opportunity to discuss your health in an open and safe space; you will be gently encouraged to talk about your illness so that a better understanding of what causes your problem is reached. Then he takes the time to understand your case before prescribing a remedy that is unique to you.
Luke graduated from the Bristol College of Massage in Jan 2011 and Bristol School of Thai Massage in Feb 2012
He is dedicated to helping ease acute and chronic pain, contributing to a greater all round capacity to overcome painful episodes and longstanding problems. His treatments bring together sports massage, acupressure and remedial massage techniques to both stimulate and relax the body. Your treatment plan will include appropriate advice on posture, stretching, self-massage and core-exercises.
Luke has a lot of experience working in various settings, from his time at The Relaxation Centre offering Holistic and Thai Massage, to his current position at C1 Chiropractic Health Centre, where the focus is predominantly on sports massage. He has worked extensively with triathletes, rugby players, runners, cyclists and swimmers, as well as helping many people suffering from poor postural habits and sedentary work conditions back to greater mobility and freedom from pain.
Luke’s first training was as a classical musician; playing the French Horn since the age of 10
He graduated from the Guildhall School of Music in 2005. Music has many parallels with the healing arts: most notably the sensitivity and awareness to ‘tune in’, the ability to learn and perfect techniques, recognise patterns and to maintain professional performance standards. His experience working as a Chef has given him an enthusiasm for understanding nutrition and the importance of digestion in maintaining health.
Feel free to call or e-mail today to discuss your treatment and how it could help you to feel better.
